Is there Internet or phone reception?
There is very little phone coverage on the property and the feedback we are getting from guests is that we should keep it this way!
If you need Telstra phone signal or wifi please feel free to visit the Meeting Place. The network is Tanja Camp and password tanjacamp.
When is the best time to visit?
The temperate climate of the Sapphire Coast region is ideal for enjoying our nature and outdoors all year round.

Winter – Average high of 17 °C and low of 5 °C

Is there air-conditioning or heating?
The tents and eco-cabins are designed to let the cool air flow through with wide side window and canvas openings and large front and back entrances and therefore do not need cooling. Heating has been installed in all our tents and eco-cabins for the cooler months.

Can I book the camp exclusively?
Absolutely!! With 6 rooms and our meeting place we hope to encourage a space for special interest groups, conservation groups or families to come together and reconnect with each other, their community and enjoy the nature-based experiences that TLC has to offer. Please visit our group bookings page for more information or contact us for our exclusive camp booking rates.
Can you organize airport pick-ups and guided day tours?
While we don’t offer these services, we do know local businesses that do! Contact Navigate Expeditions they offer airport transfers, hiking, (e)-biking, kayaking and canoeing tours in the Mimosa Rocks and Bournda National Parks as well as facilitating and logistics for any special interest tours from photography, wellness, arts and craft, bird watching and foodie tours.
Can you provide us with catering options?
While we don’t provide onsite catering ourselves we know some fabulous local catering businesses who will!
Eastwoods Bermagui – Register for their meal orders online, order your dinner on the Monday before your arrival and have it delivered to TLC on Friday afternoon. Easy reheat and serve gourmet chef prepared meals!
Mr BOLD catering co.
How can I find out more information about your accessible options?
Can I charge my electric vehicle!
We love that you have an electric vehicle! – Unfortunately we are on a very limited electricity supply and charging an EV may overload our system and cause all accommodation to lose power.
There is a free (for now) NRMA DC fast charger, Tritium 50kW Unit with CHAdeMO and CCS2 station in Bega (15 min away) centrally located at 81 Gipps St.
We are looking to install an electric vehicle charging station in the future.
Can I bring children? Is TLC suitable for children?
The TLC setting is a wonderful place for children to explore the natural world. Therefore it is our goal to welcome families without detracting from the quiet nature immersion experience of others. We allow children in our luxury family tent Buru all year round and in all other tents and eco-cabins children are only allowed during NSW/ACT school holidays.
